This research paper presents a comparative analysis of three culturally significant landscapes: Jabal Akhdar and Jabal Shams in Oman, Wadi Rum in Jordan, and AlUla in Saudi Arabia. The aim of this study is to investigate the correlation between cultural heritage and landscape transformation. The study evaluates the physical features of areas with slow mobility through extensive field research, incorporating their geological and geomorphological attributes. It also examines the impact of mobility patterns on landforms, land use and community spatial organization. Additionally, it investigates how slow mobility affects the conservation of cultural and natural heritage in these regions. The analysis determines the significance of these landscapes as links between the past, present and future. It highlights the contributions of slow mobility to the development of human-environment relationships.
