This article explores the close relationship between logistics and geography in Central Asia, highlighting the increasing parallelism between the two disciplines. It focuses on the rise in traffic along the Kazakhstan-Russia border, infrastructure investments, and the circumvention of sanctions. The author emphasizes the key role of the region in supplying strategic resources to Russia, citing specific examples such as semiconductors, lasers, and drones. The complexity of permeable trade routes between Central Asian countries and Russia is discussed, raising questions about Western awareness of these flows. In conclusion, the article underscores how the region is playing a crucial role in current geopolitical dynamics, opening a new Silk Road connecting the rear lines of the ongoing war.
